'Deffodils' : thinking Activity

'Deffodils ' By william wordsworth: thinking activity.

1.. Poetry Recitation with Nature

Record a short video (2–3 minutes) of yourself reciting Daffodils. Try to do it outdoors (garden, park, under a tree, or even with a plant at home) so that the background matches the poem’s natural theme.

Ans:

I record my voice with full feel, get new activite and experians to attech with nature.

2.. Create a Painting / Drawing / Digital Art

Show your personal interpretation of the scene. You may include:

Daffodils by the lake

Trees and waves.

How did the painting help you understand the poem better?

- whan we studied the poeam     Deffodils,I painted the   Deffodils, sky, grass as I imagined them in  my maind, while  drowing this painting, I understood more cleary what wordsworth must have falt at thet time.I pictured the wondorful Deffodils along the edge of lake,With clouds floating in the sky.Personally, I like firangipani flowers, so my frist Image always connect to them .

-Not only thet, but i have deep love  flowers in general. this painting helped me understood the poem more deeply, because I could feel what william wordsworth wanted to express.

- william wordsworth shows us how nature can cannect with our emotions. In my Imagination, the Deffodils were fluttering and dancing With sky, talking with honey bees- everything felt wondorful, just as wordsworth describes in his peam.

👉.Which line of the poem inspired your artwork?

- Evry line of the poem inspired my artwork. and Thinking activity.

but the line thet inspire me the most is  💭-"Ten thousand saw I at a glance,Tossing their heads in sprightly dance."

Ode on solitude: thinking Activity

This blog tast was givan by Dhatri ma'am

Thinking activity task on 'Od on solitude' by Alexander pope.

1. Design Your Own Ode to Solitude  After reading Alexander Pope’s , you should write your own short  celebrating an aspect of life they find essential for happiness (e.g., friendship, family, love, books, nature, or even technology in today’s world). Add the photo of notes in the blog.

2.Alexander Pope’s  emphasizes contentment, simplicity, and enjoying the present moment an echo of the  theme. Think about how the same idea appears in Indian cultural expressions.

Identify one  that celebrates the joy of simple living or seizing the day (e.g.,  from  or ). How do these songs echo the same feelings as Pope’s ?

 - Pope wrote a poam about  solitude, how he felt peace In solitude.
-There are many songs dedicetid to solitude and celibrating the joy of simple living and seizing the day.
- Examples of Songs
ðŸŽĩ"Jiya re"from jab tak hai jan, "sooraj dooba h yaro","sooraj ki baahon main" from zindagi naa milegi dobara,"zindagi ek safar hai suhanaa". ðŸŽĩ

All These songs celibrate joy, happines, solitude.

-songs echo the same feelings thet pope writes in his  poem.
pope says thet a man whose wishes and cares are Simple can find contentment In evry small thing.

- At the end, pope also says thet  no stone should tell where he dies-A life of peace without fame.
-Similarly, these songs write describes  how people can find there solitude, contentment and Joy in life.
- For exampale: "jiya re"song says: Love yourself and forget your worries.

👉 Many Indian verses  reflect similar wisdom, such as valuing peace over wealth. Compare one doha with Pope’s lines on “Happy the man, whose wish and care / A few paternal acres bound.” What cultural differences/similarities do you see?

•  Can you connect the poem’s idea of “seizing the present with contentment” with any  you know (for example,  or )? In what way does the character’s life philosophy resemble Pope poem?
Ans.

 Doha :

"āĪļाāΈं ā·āĪĪāĪĻा āĪĶीāΜिāĪ āΜाāĪŪे āĪ•ुāΟुंāĪŽ āĪļāĪŪाāĪŊ
āĪŪैं āĪी āĪूāĪ–ा āĪĻा āΰāĪđूं āĪļाāΧु āĪĻ āĪूāĪ–ा āΜाāĪ "

Transletion :
Sai, give me enough to feed my family. Let me not go hungry, and let no saint or guest go hungry from my house.

In this doha Kabir is saying :

"Lord! give me just enough wealth for my family to eat to their heart's content, for myself to not go hungry, and for any sadhu (guest) who visits my home to not leave hungry."

Similarities:

In doha, kabir Asks only for  enough wealth for his family, himself, and his guests- because.
he doesn't want anyone to leave his house without eating food.

-In 'ode on solitude', Alexander pope says true happiness lies in , contentment, good health, A Simple life and freedom from complications and desires of the world.

The similarities is thet both kabir and pope believe thet man/women needs contentment, health, Happy life.they don't   value a life of luxury.

Differences :

-pope focusses on simplicity. he enjoys nature,Food, friends, and a clear Conscience, wishing to live peacefully and unnoticed .

-👉kabir,On the other hand ,preys not just for himself but  also for his family and guests.
He emphasizes feeding others friest and sustaining the Household.

So, both similarities and differences are found between them.

👉 we can identify so many charactrs like pope.
 for example:

Pope's philosophy:  be happy at any time, forgot your worries, find solitude' in food land and nature.

kabir's philosophy: keep your heart content in the remembrance of God's remembernce.

3.Pope says happiness means having little but feeling content. But Marxist thinkers ask: Can real happiness exist when there is poverty, inequality, and class divisions?

Pope talks about happiness without wealth or luxury. How would Marxists respond? Do you think it is possible to be truly happy when many people suffer from inequality?

- marxists say real happiness exist only when there is equality in social life.

-only some people can feel content while they are suffering from poverty and Inequality.

-pope talks about happiness without wealth or luxury.

marxists respons thet pope is right. marxists partly agree but argue thet true  happines requires equality and justice.

- I think it's possible for some people to be happy evan while  suffering,
but others cannot.people have different perspectives on this.

🔍Pope praises a “simple rural life.” Compare this with today’s world of branded clothes, luxury cars, and modern lifestyles. Is Pope’s idea of happiness still possible in today’s consumerist society? Why or why not?

👉 In today's life, people want luxury lifestyle-branded clothes, cars, and mordan comforts.

Pope Praises a "simple rural life".
Stillsome people find peace in nature, small joys, food and simplicity🕊️.
For them, pope's idea of happiness is still possible.

However Around 90% of people desire luxury life. they believe contentment, comes from material comfort.

So, pope's idea is still correct.Luxury lifestyles bring only temporary joy, but true peace and happiness come from simplicity.

The canonization : Thinking Activity

Unit.1 'The canonization' pepar.1 .blog tast is givan by Dhatri ma'am .

 1.Ans. :-

In this poeam 'The canonization' which was writan by John donne. Done equates love to sainthood.but now in our day-to-day life people give  importance to friendship, sucsess, money, career and now especially in this generation the most important is mobile phones. people treat these things as if they were sacred, like  sainthood. For exampale this Ganretion spends most of their time on mobile phones and social media, staying cannected to them as if they were holy.

However, some people still treat love as sainthood, because not everyone has the same mantality, heart or priorites. for some couples, love is like a rainbow and rain-they always want to be together with their partnar.one movie also cannects with this idea: 'om shanti om'. in this movie ,the hero dies, but for the sake of his love,he is reborn and gives justice to his love (beloved) who was killed. This kind of eternal and powerful love is the same kind of john donne explain in this poem.

2.Ans.

-Jhon donne dismisses welth, money, success, politics, business,in favor of love. According to me, i have exampales of both kinds of relationships.

- I have seen some archetypes where people value their relationships more  then money or sucsess.I Saw thet some people give so much velued, essential in their relationship, Just like how donne  velues love.In some relationships, people treat his/herlove like Rose-briar.In such relationships, both partnars do not  want anyone's saport; they only want  peace and solitude. They merely want their partanr's rainforcement. For exampale the love of  radha and krishna shows a soulful and heartfelt cannection, teaching us the velue of love. By the same token, the love story of  heer-ranja reflects the same. Even on movies and songs like jab we met and Om  shanti om, we can see such exampales.

- However Sometimes people give more  priority to business, monay, politics, and success and all. They do not undarstend or  praoritze love. Instead,They show devotion to their work  business and ambitions. So, the truth is thet every person has different priorities and desires in life.

 3.Ans:

-Donne believes his poetry will immortalize his love. Today, people use social media like instagraam, facebook, and music or films to do the same. In movies, songs, writings, many moments and emotions are immortalized.

-I have many exampales thet keep love and memory alive for people.

-We have films like 'Om shanti om',Satyaprem ki katha','kabir singh','kuch kuch hota hai','laila majnu' and others. All these films immortalize love.

-Similarly, songs such as:"Seene se tere sar ko laga ke","Tum dil ke dhadkan mein rehte ho","Tera fitoor jab se chad gaya re","Chand mera dil, chandni ho tum"and "Na umar ki seema ho ,na janam ka bandhan" also Immortalize love in their music, Just like Doone describes his love in poetry.

- On social media, people shere their own Immortalize love, moments and emotions For exampales, they post wedding Or anniversary photos, video, and writing something spesial for their loved ones.

- So,yes today we have many exampales thet can be compared to Doone's poetry.
